The name Admiral has been synonymous with luxury yachting since as far back as 1966, when the company launched its first wooden yacht. A far cry from the Planet Nine 2018, which retails for almost $98 million. Admiral is the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group, which has launched over 575 yachts and ships up to 200 meters. The Admiral brand is recognised the world over for its elegant, sophisticated and prestigious lines.
Planet Nine measures in at 73 metres and is a brand new ice-classed explorer yacht. The exterior was meticulously designed by Tim Heywood, and the yacht can accommodate sixteen people in eight stately bedrooms, with the two master bedrooms getting their own private deck. The Planet Nine is the ultimate yacht quality, finished to exacting and demanding specifications. The interior is by Fritz and was explicitly designed by the famous Tino Zervudachi.
The yacht boasts some impressive features including helicopter landing and hangar facilities. The commercial helipad has a maximum landing weight of 8T, and although designed for Augusta Grande choppers, dimensionally it can accommodate heavier and larger helicopters. The hangar and deck are more than capable of handling two helicopters at once. The Planet Nine is equipped with dynamic positioning systems, and it has a pool and Jacuzzi on the sun deck featuring a water retention tank. There is the central elevator running from the lower deck right up to the sun deck and a private one leading directly through the master bedrooms.
With Admiral, you know what you are getting, quality, luxury and unmistakable style. The yacht has been crafted with passion, oozing refined Italian style, cutting edge design and exquisite craftsmanship. There is a commitment to creativity and dedication to perfection. The 2018 Admiral Planet Nine lives up to the brand’s rich history admirably adding another masterpiece and a new queen of the seas.
