Can you Imagine swimming in a pool with its own waterslide on top of a 170 metre-high tower overlooking the azure Mediterranean coastline?

The visionary for the project is architect Alexander Giraldi, a master of “belle epoque” design, which is inspired by the atmosphere of early 20th century Paris.

Located within the Golden Citadel of Monte Carlo, the Tour Odeon Tower is the latest addition to the elite status of the city-state of Monaco, which is well known as one of the most expensive areas in the world for luxury real estate, home to luxurious casinos, luxury yachts, exotic cars and exciting events such as the Formula One Grand Prix, the Monte-Carlo Arts Festival, and the Rolex Tennis Master.

Soaring to a height of 170m, the Odeon Tower is the Mediterranean coastline’s second tallest and most expensive building.

A BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS ESTATE ASKS $15 MILLION

A BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS ESTATE ASKS $15 MILLION

Building the house was challenging, Mr. Helm said, since ‘that peninsula is not one piece of rock—we had to secure the rocks together.’

The first visible house on Tortola, approaching from the West, is the BVI’s “Signature Villa” Steele Point. This amazing beauty is for sale. Named after the peninsula upon which this unique home is perched, ‘Steele Point’ is located on the very western tip of Tortola in the breathtaking British Virgin Islands. Surrounded by the most beautiful sailing waters in the world, ‘Steele Point’ is simply extraordinary.

Every detail in this custom home is a masterpiece of design. The villa is actually three structures linked by pathways. At the top is a bedroom with an outdoor shower, further down are the living and dining rooms, 2 bedrooms and 2½ baths, and below that is a structure with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths—including one with its own live palm tree.

ADASTRA SUPERYACHT

ADASTRA SUPERYACHT

“When you look at Adastra you look at the future of yacht design”

Designed by luxury yacht designer John Shuttleworth, the striking 42.5m Trimaran Adastra was launched in China for Hong Kong clients Anto and Elaine Marden. Her striking and futuristic design is a result of more than five years of cooperation between the Owner, the exterior designer John Shuttleworth Design Ltd, as well as the interior designers Jepson Designs and the shipyard.
Adastra won the Most Innovative Yacht prize, and at the ShowBoats Design Awards with an award for naval architecture and a judges’ commendation for exterior styling.

The yacht uses a trimaran shape that allows it to have multiple hulls, and ensures smooth and faster travel, allowing the vessel to move comfortably over water at high-speeds. The yacht’s deck and superstructure are constructed of carbon fibre with a carbon/Nomex honeycomb core, while the hull is an e-glass/Kevlar foam sandwich. At light load, the yacht burns 4.5 gallons of fuel an hour to cruise at 10.5 knots, which gives a range of 10,000 nautical miles. At 17 knots she uses 98 litres an hour and has a range of 4,000 nautical miles. Her top speed, delivered by one 1,150hp Caterpillar C18 engine, is 23.2 knots.
Adastra’s 16 metre beam creates a spacious saloon area on the main deck which offers superb views through a panoramic window and accommodates a lounge area, dining table, and navigation station.

32m motor yacht Cronos

32m motor yacht Cronos

The Cronos yacht is a highly innovative project by Simone Madella and Lorenzo Berselli, an Italian pair educated through the prestigious course BYT (bike, yacht and train). At the Millenium Yacht Design Awards they received a special mention in the “young professionals” category.
Futuristic and minimal interior and exterior make this luxurious yacht an ideal for traveling.
“Interesting experimentation in expressive language applied to interior architecture, with particular to the value of wood and its use forms” – they said for this miracle of form.
Simone Madella and Lorenzo want to create a connection between luxury object and owners life. They also mentioned that a yacht is not always about speed and losing control. There is a joy too, and that was the reason why they installed a modern slow boat.
