Royal Huisman Hanuman

Dr. James H Clark reaffirmed his confidence in the Royal Huisman for the third time when he commissioned the Hanuman back in 2005. This time it was a recreation of the legendary racing yacht “Endeavour II”. The rig and mast is made out of composite on this 42.10 m yacht. Below decks interior designer Pieter Beeldsnijder has drawn upon fine traditional materials such as hand-polished French Walnut and period design references to create all the warmth and ambiance of a bygone era, sensitively fused with the high amenity standards of a modern superyacht. This is where sailing gets interesting.

C3H5N309 Experiment ZR012 “Nitro” Black Limited Edition by Urwerk and MB&F

The C3H5N309 is very nifty and peculiar little machine. The movement features obligatory Reuleaux polygon rotors, inspired by the epitrochoid combustion chamber of a Wankel engine. It would be rude to expect anything less from a collaboration of Urwerk and MB&F. I have done an earlier post on the HM5, a watch which also testifies to the adeptness of MB&F.

This particular limited edition of the C3H5N309 is distinguished by its black case (made from zirconium) and black movement. This wristwatch retails for $182,000.

Breva Génie 01

The Breva Génie is special in many ways not limited to being the first ever mechanical wristwatch to display weather forecasting and and your altitude. Visible on the dial there is the time at 8 o’clock in a smaller dial, a 65 hour power reserve at 4 o’clock, an altimeter on the top of the dial and the most importantly barometer at 2 o’clock. A small button marked “Air” at 4 o’clock allows for the 44 mm case to “pressurize”  and for the barometer and altimeter to the measure air pressure.

Wally Ace

When it comes to sea-vessels it doesn’t get more end game than Wally and two earlier blog posts testify to our affection of the brand.  The Wally Ace was launched in 2012 and has already begun to roam the seas. As you can see from the picture it is just breath taking. Huge open spaces and minimalistic design that is typical on anything Wally. The unique owner’s suite aft has direct access to a terrace on the sea and the Ace is all in all capable of accommodating 8 guests and 4 crew members. A huge garage stores a 6 meter tender and all of your typical water toys. We want one so bad!

Bell 525 Relentless

Happy new year!

The Relentless is the largest and most technical civil helicopter in the long history of Bell. The helicopter is able to carry 16 passenger while covering distances up to 400 nautical miles – pretty impressive numbers to say the least. Apart from aerodynamics these digits can be credited to the full authority digital engine control (fadec) turbines, each producing around 2,000 shaft horsepower.
While chock-full of new technology, such as glass panel touch screens, the chopper designed to be initutive for the operator.
It doesn’t get much better than this, just what you need for the heli-pad on your newly acquired Cakewalk. Price starts at €11,300000.
