Harley Davidson motorcycles is a name synonymous with luxury, performance and style. The new Harley Davidson CVO Limited 2018 motorcycle boasts the super efficient and most potent, V Twin engine ever offered; the Twin-Cooled™ Milwaukee-Eight® 117 series.
With production limited to just 6,000 in 2018, the CVO Limited is exclusive indeed. The FXR2 and FXR3 are the first two CVO models, both tourers, adorned with retro chrome and unique paint finishes. The bike fulfils dreams and allows exciting customisation options. Nevertheless, the standard specs are impressive and include a sound system and Bluetooth earphones, built into the helmets, which is a nice touch. The engine is a 117ci (1,923cc) Twin-Cooled Milwaukee-Eight with unique cam timing and a claimed 125 lb-ft of torque. The CVO weighs in at 940 pounds, 420 pounds of load capacity, the heaviest so far, yet the powerful engine has no problem dealing with the extra weight, even fully loaded. The throttle’s response is immediate, and the motor responds with real pulling power. The six-speed gearbox allows for complete control of the motorcycle, whether on a straight, or mountainous slopes. The rear-wheel dyno cranks our 111 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm, 96 horsepower at 4,900 rpm.
The internal combustion system provides the perfect amount of rumble, yet not enough to annoy, and never offensive. Extras include a Hammock heated touring seat with rider and passenger backrests, a power saddlebag, trunk locks, and a tire-pressure monitoring system. There is also a pair of wireless headsets with an interface module. Add to that features such as; a high-quality audio system, navigation, heated grips and seats, cruise control, anti-lock brakes, a huge gas tank and the bike is loaded with extras. Fuel economy clocks in at 41 mph. The range on a full tank of gasoline is 210 miles, and the fuel tank capacity is six gallons, with the low fuel warning light coming on when there is just one mile’s worth of fuel left. There are few names more iconic than Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and it is not hard to tell why with the CVO 2018 Harley Davidson.
