Numarine’s new 78HTS yacht is the latest launch from the Turkish shipyard, known for build quality and fresh approaches to classic designs. The 78-foot flybridge yacht has a strong and handsome profile and makes smart use of space. Its new “Silent Package,” a lithium-ion battery system is where it really shines through as it raises onboard quality of life far above any other yacht in its class.
The Silent Package’s bank of batteries is connected to a smart energy management system and allows owners to power the air conditioning, galley appliances, lighting, and entertainment systems without producing too much noise or vibration. This enhancement is a first for high-profile yachts and one that will surely take sea voyaging to a whole new level.
The flybridge is the main draw of the new Numarine. Its four-sunbed configuration surrounds a center helm station. It can accommodate up to four guests in the reclining sunbeds. The designers positioned the bridge far enough to allow space for skylights over the main deck. A shorter bridge lets the boat retain the 78HT’s low, aggressive profile.
Numarine’s 78HS is able to reach 38 knots with its twin 1,200 hp MAN Engines. Other standard features include a spacious garage equipped with a retrieval system, a submersible swim platform on a hydraulic lift, and four more sunbeds and built-in lounge in the bow. The open-plan saloon has large side and overhead windows and is flooded with natural light. The deck below houses a full-beam master suite with an adjoining head with walk-in shower, enclosed toilet, and twin sinks. Three additional guest suites are generously sized, with their own en suite heads. Price is available on request for the new 78HTS.
