Milano, Residence in Via Dei Giardini

The house of Santo Versace encapsulates the mix of glamour and refinement that makes Milan a global capital of fashion. Each one of the 2100 sqm of liveable area, the 442 sqm of private garden, the 300 sqm of rooftop terrace reflect classy design and superior lifestyle. The house is located on Via dei Giardini, the only street with trees in the centre of Milan. The house was designed by architects Carlo De Carli and Antonio Carminati, representatives of the Modern Movement, in 1953-1954. With a floor plan constituted of an octagon overlapping a rectangle, the building is considered one of the finest examples of post-war rationalist residential architecture in the city. The property is on four floors, in addition to a basement. Very discreet from the outside, an architectural masterpiece inside.
