The exclusive yacht builders from icy Finland, Nautor recently launched the high-performance, Swan 98 super sailing yacht. The Swan 98 is an honoured member of Nautor’s Maxi Swan line and can be customised as desired.
The Swan 98 is the newest Maxi Swan preceding the launch of larger Swan yachts. The yacht comes with a choice of two interior layouts and includes four staterooms with en-suite bathrooms. The overall length of 98 feet (30 metres) qualifies the Swan 98 to take its place with the Maxi Swan yachts, which are all over 85 feet long.
The buyer can opt for a layout which includes a forward or full-beam aft location housing the owner’s master-suite. The other three additional cabins, all with en suites, are for guests as well as a two crew quarters which provide ample room for the whole entourage. The lounge and dining areas nestle right in the middle of the yacht and the coach roof directly above provides all the natural light one could wish for.
The marvellous multipurpose deck is an exciting hangout area offering stunning vistas and a bird’s eye view. It is also the heart of the sailing boat, an area with an open foredeck for sail handling. There is a spacious cockpit tucked right beyond the coachroof, which has a padded lounge and chill-out space. In addition to all that, a fully retractable sprayhood shelter protects the guests from the harsh elements, and the area can transform into an ‘al fresco’ dining area with the ultimate sea view. Moving further aft, the transom can be folded down turning into a teak-decked swimming platform with direct access to the tender garage.
The Swan 98 by Nautor is a sporty-looking sea craft that glides silently through the water. There is even the option of a telescoping keel that can determine whether or not to drop anchor in a shallow cove in the Mediterranean. With its distinctive flared stern, clean foredeck, sweeping looks and low-profile coachroof, Nautor’s Swan 98 is one of the most desirable sailing yachts on the market in 2018.
