A new over-the-top development is on the market from developer Bruce Makowsky the likes of which have been seen in the high end of the Los Angeles real estate market. The Luxury home builder and handbag tycoon is previously been known to have sold a property for $70m in 2015, and has now listed a new home for the spectacular price of $250 million.
The 38,000-square-foot property, located in the wealthy enclave of Bel Air, is known as the most expensive home ever listed for sale in the U.S. It consists of 21 bathrooms and three whole gourmet kitchens along with two spacious master suites and 10 additional guest suites. The property also includes a 17,000 square-foot entertainment deck, 6 bars, a bowling alley lounge, 2 wine-champagne cellars, a private fitness center, home theatre, and a glass tile infinity swimming pool.
Bel Air’s new estate for the ultra-affluent comes completely furnished. A unique twist is added by the fact that aside from the high-end furniture, this includes a collection of 12 super rare, vintage cars in the “auto gallery,” estimated at $30 million as well as 100 art installations, including a larger-than-life Leica camera.
The price also includes a service team of 7 full-time staff members (including a chef, chauffeur, and masseuse), paid-for for two years and the helicopter featured in the 1980s TV show Airwolf.
With sweeping 270-degree view of the L.A. skyline, ocean, and mountains, the home is expected to attract the interest of about 3,000 buyers, who are able to afford the wildly over-the-top home.
