The Riva 63 Virtus

The Riva 63’ Vertigo yacht is truly a sight to behold – its spirited character and powerful performance puts it one class above its predecessors. Its innovative and conceptual design is accentuated by its gritty spirit. The large open area to the rear reinvents the model on the borderline with the concept of ‘coupé’.

Retaining the positive traits of the previous model, the 63’ Vertigo boasts new sleek features. Stylish, fast and exquisitely engineered – the new cruiser represents everything that Riva Aquarama has come to stand for. The cockpit boasts an impressive new layout with a unique and innovative feature – an ingenious, sliding sofa. Other impressive features are the sleek new windscreen and reprofiled guardrails.

Perhaps the biggest change sees the port side rearranged, which results in larger seating area while the foredeck boasts a stylish sunpad with a pram-hood-style sunshade. A folding bimini replaces the Vertigo’s hardtop. The subtle changes in the décor and color scheme complete the elegant, harmonic style of the vessel, but are not too far from the familiar design palette of the collection. The light-oak veneers contrast beautifully with the dark stain, luxurious fabrics and thick leather upholstery. The interior is stylish and contemporary with a distinctive minimalistic feel. Three cabins, including a VIP suit, provide plenty of space for up to 8 guests, and feature impressively roomy spaces and shower compartments.

The engines are located in aft, on V-drive gearboxes to make more room for the interior compartments, but still provide enough power for the yacht to reach a top speed of 40 knots. It is quick to accelerate and responsive, making it a delight to drive. All in all – it provides an ideal combination of power, performance and comfort for the asking price of € 2.356.310. With a total length of 19.57m it has plenty of room for a nice getaway to sea and is the perfect embodiment of the warm, luxurious Mediterranean style. Check here more luxurious yachts.

Riva Aquarama with the heart of Lamborghini

Riva Aquarama with the heart of Lamborghini

If I mention Lamborghini, what will be your first association? Maybe an extraordinary luxury car? In most cases yes, but this time we will go from the land into the water and continue our story about the Lamborghini.

Ferruccio Lamborghini’s Riva Aquarama speedboat powered by two Lamborghini engines, has emerged after an extensive three year restoration. The majority of Riva Aquarama were powered by low-revving – though extremely powerful and reliable – American V-8 engines.

Forty-five years after it was commissioned by Ferruccio himself, it’s back on the water, complete with not one, but two classic Lamborghini V12s. Specially adapted for use in a boat, each 4.0-liter V-12 produces 350-horsepower, propelling the Aquarama to 48 knots (55 landlubber’s miles per hour). This made it not only the fastest Aquarama ever built, but an Aquarama with the heart of a Lamborghini.

„It was complete, but decades in the salty environment was not very good for the wood and it needed quite a lot of work,“ says Sandro Zani, the owner of Dutch Riva. „We replaced the bottom and partially the sides and deck, but we kept all the original framework, the seats are still the original seats, all the hardware, instruments, that was all kept and restored.“

Ferruccio Lamborghini died in 1993, and the boat has now passed into the hands of a private collector. In the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum in Italy, one of the two original engines from the Riva can still be seen.

REVOLVER BOATS READY TO LAUNCH NEW 14M REVOLVER 44GT

REVOLVER BOATS READY TO LAUNCH NEW 14M REVOLVER 44GT

Revolver Boats, has announced that they are ready to launch the new Revolver 44GT, 14-meter grand tourer of the sea with a top speed in excess of 60 mph and more than a splash of supercar styling.

The basic concept is the idea of transferring the qualities of a grand touring car to the sea. This boat is the perfect balance of luxury, avant-garde technology, and innovation. High performance vessel with sporty lines, comfort and safety include deployable rear air vents and the bow with original LED lights built into the protective and powerful fender rail that defines the profile.

When we talk about interior, Michael Peters focused on the large central structure that houses the control panel and helm station. The helm station has an integrated dual monitoring system, for greater security, that also interfaces with the navigation screens. Below deck, in the bow, there is a large perimeter sofa that can be converted into a double bed by folding down the table, as well as a kitchen and mini-bar.

Revolver 44GT is equipped with two diesel Cummins 550 HP engines each paired with Arneson Surface Drives. The most amazing part is that the boat can easily exceed a maximum speed of 50 knots in total safety.

Deployable rear air vents reminiscent of high-end cars from the 1960s. Spectacular glass roof (electronically operable) as well as a rear glass door that opens up (hiding away in the engine room), make this boat even more impressive.

RIVA 92 DUCHESSA

RIVA 92 DUCHESSA

Racy lines harmoniously design the profile of this yacht which encloses all the elegance of Riva style in her 28 metres, whilst the large windows of the upper deck guarantee as much light as possible.

Inside this luxury yacht the white is carried out in a variety of materials: leather for the sofa, blinds, and dining room table, high-gloss lacquer for the overhead, bleached oak for the salon deck, and pressed marble dust for the dining room sole. The joinery is primarily walnut, finished in a medium caramel hue with darker finished panels as accents.

The great innovation is the private entrance to the Owner cabin from the main deck. The Owner cabin features a walk-in wardrobe and vanity unit and is well-lit by two large, new windows fitted on either side.
