Koenigsegg One:1 world's first megacar

Koenigsegg One:1 world’s first megacar

Koenigsegg Automotive AB is a Swedish manufacturer of high-performance sports cars. New Koenigsegg one:1 is one of the most exclusive production car programs ever envisaged.

The Swedish specialists are taking the hypercar to the next mega level. New Agera One:1 is the first production car with a one megawatt of power (1,341 horsepower). The horsepower to kilogram ratio is a perfectly balanced 1:1, so it goes beyond super or hyper and is actually the “world’s first megacar.”

The extraordinary power are generated by twin-turbocharged, 5.0-liter V8 from the Agera R. Redesigned seven-speed dual clutch transmission is connected to the massively powerful engine, and takes a single technician three weeks to build. The seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox and electronically-controlled differential makes sure all that grunt gets to the wheels.
Top speed is around 273mph, and it go from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds, 0-300km/h in about 12 seconds and 0-400 km/h in 20 seconds. The engine is flex-fuel-capable and able to run on gasoline, race fuel, or E85.

Only six examples of the extreme hypercars were built, and they’ve all sold out already. But you’ll be able to buy a form of it. “We’ll have the 2015 Agera up next – essentially a facelift – but it will feature a lot of the One:1 technology: the active chassis, the rear wing, the suspension, everything,” says Koenigsegg spokesman Andreas Petre.

Unfortunately you can not buy this megacar, but the magnificent Koenigsegg Agera R is available for purchase, and you can check it out in our shop. The One:1 actually is extreme model based upon the Agera model series.

Alfa Romeo 4C

Alfa Romeo 4C

Translated almost perfectly to reality, the 4C life began several years ago as a concept car at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011. The special Alfa Romeo 4C Launch Edition will arrive in dealerships this summer (it will be limited to just 500 units) while the standard 4C coupe will arrive in fall.

The Alfa Romeo 4C is a mid-engined two-seater, with a carbon-fiber body, an aluminum suspension, powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that sends power to the rear wheels through a dual-clutch gearbox. Harald Wester, CEO of Alfa Romeo said: “The all-new 4C marks the return of ‘the great Alfa Romeos’ and represents the purest formation of the brand’s DNA with its supercar-levels of performance and innovation, all while focusing on making the driver an integral part and completion of the machine.” For sure this car is very impressive and looks really great. With all its features, the Alfa Romeo 4C is currently one of the most interesting cars on the market. Let’s take a closer look at its details.

Alfa Romeo 4C will get the 1742-cc turbo four (transversely and mid-mounted) making 237 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, as well as the six-speed dual-clutch automatic and manual rack-and pinion steering.

From the exterior of the car is visible an adaption of the exhaust system which results in a sportier (darker) sound. You can choose from six paint colors: Black, Rosso Alfa, White, Basalt Gray, Rosso Competizione and Madreperla White.

Pal-V One – flying car

Pal-V One – flying car

Ever dreamed of owning a flying car? Well, from dreams to reality, the world of the flying cars is here! You can now purchase your own personal flying car PAL-V One for $395,000 with deliveries starting in 2016 with a maximum production capability of 150 units per year for the first two or three years. Now you can fly-drive to almost any destination!

This spectacular machine promises an unforgettable ride on the road and in the air! Technically it’s a three-wheeled motorcycle that transforms into a gyrocopter. Pal-V One can reach speeds of up to 112 mph and goes from 0 to 60 in under 8 seconds when driven on the road, and takes just 10 minutes to convert between modes. Personal Air and Land Vehicle (Pal-v) uses an autogyro flight system, with a 230-horsepower gasoline engine spinning a rear-facing propeller and an auto-rotating, retractable main rotor to generate lift. So if the engine fails, the craft still can land safely thanks to the lift generated by its auto-rotating main rotor.

Fly out of a traffic jam is not so simply because Pal-V requires 540ft of runway to take off and 100ft to land. But it flies below 4,000ft, so interfering with commercial air traffic is not an issue. Once the engine stops, the propeller folds itself automatically into the driving position.

A main requirement was to create a land-air vehicle that anyone could use. For that reason, the company has created a 3D simulator so people can practice take-offs, landings, and steering, before getting behind the stick of the real thing. They even simulate many real airports around the world that people might take off from.

2014 JEEP CHEROKEE TRAILHAWK

2014 JEEP CHEROKEE TRAILHAWK

Equipped with front-wheel or 4-wheel drive, the new 2014 Cherokee is more than a simple midsize crossover. In extreme conditions Jeep offers absolutely stunning Trailhawk.

Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk has noticeably better front and rear angle, higher ground clearance and good ramp-overs than the 2WD Cherokee and their milder 4WD brothers.

There’s a full-colour 7-inch reconfigurable LED instrument cluster that’s backed up by an 8.4-inch colour touchscreen media centre with a variety of functions. Selec-Terrain traction control system with five customized settings (Auto, Snow, Sport, Sand/Mud and Rock ) makes things easier. Just spin the dial to match the conditions or leave it in Auto for confident 4×4 performance on any road or weather condition.

The 2014 Cherokee is also equipped with hill-ascent control, hill-descent control, and 4-wheel-disc brakes with vented front rotors. Trailhawk has wheel flares, tow hooks, skid plates, off-road suspension, diff-lock, 17-inch polished wheels and red stitching throughout the cabin. Its towing capacity is 4500 pounds. With the push of a button, it can electronically lock both rear wheels together for outstanding traction at lower speeds. Something even more spectacular is related to speed control. Selec-Speed Control is only available on Cherokee Trailhawk. It’s a great feature for off-roading and helps you confidently drive up or down hills at controlled, steady speeds.

This model is equipped with a 3.2L V6 engine, sending power to the wheels through a standard 9-speed automatic transmission. The result is formidable 271 horsepower.

Time for a wild ride? Absolutely!

$4.5 MILLION FERRARI F12 TRS REVEALED IN SICILY

$4.5 MILLION FERRARI F12 TRS REVEALED IN SICILY

And just when I thought that Ferrari could not do anything more spectacular than what now has to offer, the Italian car maker unveiled a one-off open-top F12 Berlinetta called TRS which has been created by the company’s Special Projects division. TRS is a one-off model that will leave you absolutely speechless. It made its debut during the annual Ferrari Cavalcade driving tour, which this year took place in Sicily.

Based on the company’s equally wonderful F12 Berlinetta and built exactly to a client’s specifications, this amazing car cost its lucky owner $4.5 million , making it one of the most expensive production cars to roll off the assembly line this year. Designed and created by Flavio Manzoni and the Ferrari Style Centre, the look of the F12 TRS has been inspired by the 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa.

Power comes from a 6.3-liter V-12 engine tuned to deliver 729 horsepower and 508 pound-feet of torque. This ensures 0-62 mph acceleration in just 3.1 seconds and a top speed in excess of 211 mph. The open cockpit is trimmed in Alcantara, fine leather and black matte carbon fibre. Generally, inside was adopted a minimalist look. Aerobridge that normally sits above the rear fender on the F12 Berlinetta is now gone, allowing for the open-top design of the car. The engine’s signature red cylinder heads are visible through a window in the hood.

If you are one of Ferrari’s most loyal customers and you have enough money then Ferrari can make you unique extraordinary model. This lucky guy already has his dream car. I would definitely like to have something like this in my garage.
