Le Meurice and Le Dali

Le Meurice and Le Dali

How to spend a perfect afternoon in Paris? In the heart of Paris lies the answer to this question. Between the Place de la Concorde and the Musée du Louvre, is located Le Meurice, one of the most beautiful hotels in Paris. Inspired by the royal apartments at Versailles, with highly luxurious decor, two main jewels of the hotel are restaurants Le Meurice and Le Dali. Le Meurice was founded in 1815 and if you want to taste delicious food and enjoy in the exclusive ambiance and impeccable service then you should definitely visit this place. The hotel has accommodated numerous kings, sultans, and other eminent guests. Trust me you will not regret.

Restaurant le Meurice was inspired by the Salon de la Paix at the Château de Versailles and it features a lot of remarkable paintings, antique mirrors, Crystal chandeliers, bronzes, marble, frescoes, romantic elegance and refined timeless decor. This restaurant also offers an amazing view through large windows, overlooking the Jardin des Tuileries. French designer, Philippe Starck is guilty for an incredibly beautiful decoration of the restaurant le Meurice.

As you can already guess, another restaurant is named after an extraordinary artist Salvador Dali. He spent about a month each year over 30 years in the old Royal Suite which had been used by King Alphonse XIII. Through the whole restaurant there is a sense of extreme luxury and it’s mostly covered in gold and ocher hues. A lot of things still remind us of the incredible artist, such as a Dalinien chair with feet in the form of ladies shoes, a lamp with drawers, or Le Meurice’s recognizable lobster on a telephone.
