Ferrari Sergio by Pininfarina

Ferrari Sergio by Pininfarina

Extraordinary Ferrari concept that made its debut last year at the Geneva Motor Show was built as a tribute to the legendary Italian designer, Pininfarina Sergio. The concept has now gone one step further and Ferrari will produce the Pininfarina Sergio for very six lucky customers.

All six cars have been already sold, so unfortunately you will not be able to order this amazing car. A very lucky owners were snapped up by six of Ferrari’s most loyal customers who were invited by the automaker to place an order. The exact price of the car has not been released yet but the Pininfarina Sergio will certainly cost more than one million dollar.

Pininfarina Sergio is based on the 458 Italia but it looks quite different and much more powerful as you can already notice from the picture above. The two-seater has a retro-futuristic look and it features 4.5-liter V8 engine tuned to deliver 562 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels.

Paolo Pininfarina, chairman of the Pininfarina Group had this to say “My father would be proud of this concept car because it expresses the aesthetic values that always inspired him: the purity of the lines, the harmony of form, and balance.” Deliveries of the six Sergios are expected in 2015.
