Ferrari’s old FF model now has a new successor – the Ferrari GTC4Lusso is a more powerful two-door hatchback. For the first time for the brand -the all-wheel drive is paired with rear-wheel steering. The car sports a V-12 engine capable of producing 680 hp, which makes acceleration from zero-to-62-mph possible in a time of 3.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 208 mph. The GTC4Lusso is more aerodynamic than its predecessor thanks to a new slotted diffuser and a rear spoiler that’s integrated with the hatch. The price for the model is £230,430, which is justified for such a sophisticated, elegant, upmarket model.
Aside from the subtle but visible exterior changes that see the car looking slicker and more elegant than the FF, the new GTC4Lusso sports more room in its interior. The new design is all about passenger comfort, becoming both more functional and aesthetically pleasing. Bigger pads for the headlight and wiper controls as well as indicators that can be activated by fingers from behind and thumbs at the front make the driving experience superior in every way.
The new dash design incorporates a ten-inch integrated central screen and a separate display for the passenger, which is a big improvement. The passenger screen has good functionality, allowing people to make phone calls, control music, fiddle with the sat nav and see how fast the driver is actually going. Leather and metal complete the luxurious feel of the cabin, living up to the standard f the brand in terms of style and comfort.
