Swiss watches are known for their meticulous craftsmanship, exceptional engineering and classic design, but Parmigiani Fleurier brings one extra quality to this fine combination and that is the unique art of watch restoration.
The company’s latest partnership with Bugatti produces a remarkable timepiece that is the epitome of masculine elegance and timeless class – the Parmigiani Bugatti Aerolithe Flyback Chronograph watch. Its design is simple and clean with some Bugatti elements that are blended much more seamlessly than in its predecessor.
The case is made of 18k white gold and titanium with a width of 41mm. The chronograph pushers are designed to fit into the lugs on the left side of the case, which is a particular rare sight in modern watches. This separation of chronograph pushers and crown is most famous in the TAG Heuer chronographs from the 60s and 70s and seeing it again in a contemporary timepiece is a pleasant surprise.
Another captivating feature of the model is the flawless execution of the case. Its luxurious feel is the result of careful combination of polished and brushes surfaces that complement the design beautifully. The most captivating element of the design is, without a doubt, the date disc with its expanded date design. It’s effective and elegant through a unique blend of non-traditional metallic color of the date disc and the attractive font.
All of Parmigiani’s watches stand out with their impeccable automatic movement and the Bugatti Aerolithe Flyback Chronograph is no exception. Although significantly more simple than other Parmigiani mechanisms, the flyback chronograph movement is still quite attractive to observe through the rear of the case.
The model comes in two dial colour options – metallic blue and metallic champagne. Both are unique and well-rendered and will make a perfect addition to the wardrobe of the modern urban man. The Hermes alligator leather strap provides the perfect finish for the sophisticated model, which retails for $27,000.
