The Presidential double RR. Top gears “Car of the year” 2003. Eternal icon of the rich and famous. One of the few cars that even our grand parents remember and recognize. There is much to be said of the luxury-(s)wagon that originates from Charles Stewart Rolls and Henry Royce.
The first generation of phantoms hit the market back in 1925 and is has been followed by 8 newer generations. Currently the flagship of the english automobile house that is Rolls Royce.
Customers can choose from 44.000 different paint jobs and specify any leather colors. The instrument cluster is not shared with any other vehicle and is has a “power reserve” dial. The famous suicide doors houses teflon-coated umbrellas and the classic “Spirit of Ecstasy” ornament has an automatic electronic retraction mechanism to prevent it from being stolen. The RR logos on each wheel hub floats just like modern spinner rims and of course the Phantom also features a fridge.
Rolls-Royce has been known to promote true customization, delivering fully bullet proof vehicles, vehicles with safes and my favorite: 12k sterling starlight roof.
