After the launch of its 100th yacht almost an year ago, Sunseeker is making headlines with yet another sculpted piece to tour the ocean with several new additions to its line of semi-custom vessels. Two are longer than 100 feet: the 131 (with a starting price of about $20.7 million) and the 116 (starting at $13.1 million). Their third new model is the 95 (priced at $7.9 million), and has the same impressive triple-digit length.
All yachts boast the same sleek aerodynamics and elegant modern interior. Large open-plan interior spaces are complemented by long banks of windows in a triangular shape, trapezoid or parallelogram shape for an edgy futuristic look. Guests can enjoy 360-degree panoramic views of the surrounding ocean as they relax in the saloons and cabins. The three new models demonstrate a more than adequate performance and speed with the 95 being able to reach 28 knots, the 116 – as fast as 26 knots, and the 131 topping out at 25 knots.
The saloon and dining area are the main accents of the vessels and are larger and more spacious than those of previous models. The 116 benefits from bright interior filled with light and a master suite with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows. The nook characteristic to the 115 model has been replaced with a full-size social area with lounges, sunbeds, and a hot tub, where guests can kick back and socialize.
