Twizzle was built in 2010 by the prestigious Dutch shipyard Royal Huisman with a vision to combine luxury and high performance sailing of a motor yacht. This elegant 57.5m flybridge is the yard’s first yacht completely styled, inside and out, by the talented team of Redman, Whiteley Dixon – with interior decor from Todhunter Earle Associates.
Twizzle is winner of numerous coveted industry awards including 2011 Showboats Design Awards for ‘Interior Design: Sailing Yachts’ and received a special Commendation at the World Superyacht Awards 2011 for ‘Best Sailing Yacht: 45m+’.
Justin Redman and Emily Todhunter designed stylish and comfortable accommodation abaft the engine room and crew forward. Above the engine room you can find the dining area, the main gallery which is situated on a mezzanine deck with a pilothouse on the raised deck and she also offers a panoramic sight from the spacious forward deck salon. The forward salon doubles as a theatre lounge and an informal dining room. The master suite directly leads onto a private sunken aft deck cockpit, perfect for relaxation day or night in the cool sea breeze.
Every detail of the interior is equally fascinating as its exterior, decoration was in the hands of the London-based Todhunter Earle Group, known for their interior design of residences and hotels. Twizzle offers 4 cabins accommodating a total of 11 crewmembers.
Twizzle promises extraordinary performance and carries 1,780m² of sail. Glass cockpit bridge has active glass panels and multiple screens, trackball and joystick controls with fully integrated navigation/communications data and monitoring system.
